2nd Highest peak of Himalayas , Nanda devi trek
Centerpiece of the Garhwal range of mountains.
It is the highest peak in the Garhwal Himalayas.
The height of the summit is 7816m (25,643ft). And is surrounded by lots of other peaks which range upto 21000 ft.Situated in the Nanda devi national park which has lots of varieties of flora and fauna.
Level of trek is very much difficult. Its only possible to reach the base for most of the trekkers. And the base camp is called munshiyari. Its a village in uttrakhand state 9f india
Best season for trekking here is june , august and september. This trip is of about 12 days which starts and ends up in munshiyari.
Brief itinerary:
Munshiyari-> Lilam ->Bugdiyar -> Rilkot -> Martoli -> patta -> Bittalgwar -> Nanda devi base camp -> Nanda devi east advance base camp -> return.
