U.S.A. will implement Blockchain for public security

The U.S. Ministry of Internal Affairs (Department of Homeland Security) announced on 10 January it will implement the Blockchain technology, in order to secure the transmission and storage of data collected by security cameras, sensors and internal databases. Such devices currently rely on centralized servers and databases, which are vulnerable to sophisticated malware-related attacks. Blockchain distributed database will prevent the manipulation of data and potential hacking attacks.(DHS)
