Possessing A Heart of Gratitude
I have read my Bible in and out about gratitude, all of it centered around rejoice in the Lord evermore but not only when you have it all, you must always have gratitude even when you don't have anything, in the face of struggle.
Gratitude is not only talking about what someone has done for you and in return you say thank you. It is also known as testimony, gracious to others, could be giving in appreciation and worshipping.
Everything you are going through is a face and it will be lifted, life is like a relay race, you run your path and give the next person the responsibility to run on and then the person pass it on. This is more reason we don't need to live in fear, you need to do things that makes you happy and the life is short.
Characteristics of those that have the heart of gratitude
- They fear God so much
- You will know they are genuinely born again when you have an encounter with them.
- They worship in spirit and in truth.
- Their love for God is unshakable.
- They read and meditate on the word of God always.
Lastly, you cannot posses the heart of gratitude if you are the stingy or greedy type, you cannot be grateful if you have pride. God is looking for a true gratitude from His people and no wonder David is the man after God's heart. A grateful heart will always receive from God. I pray we will all have the heart that is grateful to God always.
