FORESTING.IO: THE SOCIAL MEDIA SERVICE BASED ON BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

Without any argument, social media has become the keyword that has changed the world and still in the process of changing the world. But before now, the method and process of sharing and distributing information were centralized without proper consideration of participants , that is, information was seized and strongly held by a control body. Before the creation of bitcoin, there exists a huge lack of trust in the banking and financial system, this has brought in the overall suggestion by Satoshi Nakamoto to design a global currency system that cannot be fabricated and that will give equal rights to every participant in the system. Therefore, the Foresting Network exists to solve information unreciprocity that exists in our today’s society.





Foresting Network started earlier in 2018, to help find the value of a new life in the society with the vision of given back to its users. The network is made up of 3 departments, with each department to function separately to ensure the core value of the Foresting Network is fulfilled.

Foresting Social Media (Connecting the World)
The platform will create a new ecosystem for social media via the Blockchain technology with the new concept of social media token operation, and also ensure economic freedom for content providers compared to the traditional system. The foresting platform will ensure to increase the efficiency and value of content providers by enabling them to curate new content and provide a social network reward service for content providers.

Foresting Lab (Innovating your dreams)
The aim of this department on the network is to provide adequate infrastructure and support for content providers and communities who participate fully in the Foresting Network. The Foresting Lab provides an offline space for content creators with equipment required to create contents, so that users can create higher quality content. Users on the Foresting platform will not have to give up on creating content for no reason because every needed equipment for creating content has been provided in the ecosystem.

Foresting Bank (Creating a Unique Credit Rating System)
The sole purpose of this department on the platform is to support financial services that are required by Foresting users so they can focus on creating content for the growth of the platform and not get easily distracted. Users are expected to contribute to the network by creating content, writing comments/contents, sharing contents and liking contents. Users’ contribution is evaluated using the Foresting Bank contribution assessment model and the necessary rewards are given.





Token Description
The token that will be used in this platform is PTON token, a coin that is designed on ERC-20 with a total of 24 Billion PTON.




Conclusively, even without prior knowledge on Blockchain and cryptocurrency, anyone can easily benefit from the Foresting Network by earning PTON token as a reward for carrying out a series of activities. Revenue generated from any content is being distributed to all users who contributed, based on their level of contribution.
