When regarding the massive trends that push for the use of alternative energies, it should also be noted that the trend extends to other sectors of the economy. The automobile industry, for instance, has now begun to diversify into Electric Vehicles (EVs). These vehicles are meant to cut down on the fossil fuels deposited in the ecosystem from the exhaust pipes of fuel and diesel-powered cars.
The Project Energise aspect of FRED Energy is geared towards the construction of more Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations where electric-powered cars/vehicles would be charged at low costs.
Project Accelerate
Not everybody may afford the costs of an Electric Vehicle (EV). Many people around the world today find it challenging to own conventional diesel and fuel-powered cars because they don’t have the funds. EVs on their part are twice the costs of a fuel-powered vehicle. Therefore, public transportation is the way to go.
Already, there are Tuk-Tuk taxis, which are tricycles that aid in the movement of people and goods with convenience. The assertion that the “future is electric” has also extended to the taxis because FRED Energy is looking at expanding the electric Tuk-Tuk industry by offering interest-free hire purchase to the drivers. The project is also looking at the expansion of more charging stations and the promotion of the alternative energy us through the embedding of the FRED Energy logo on the Tuk-Tuks.
THE FUTURE IS ELECTRIC
Electric energy is one of those alternate sources of energy that looks good to prosper in the coming years. Therefore, the awareness and the sponsorship of more electric charging stations via the FRED Energy project is a defined move to bolster the use of alternative sources of energy.
