Some of the most durable and colorful summer flowers, Cosmos tolerates chill temperatures and drought. There are flowers of special beauty and it is worth cultivating in any garden, because they are not at all pretentious. The Cosmos name I borrowed from strangers seems quite unsuitable for these delicate flowers. We are called "flyers", because their stems and leaves are similar to the dill, or the mustache of the lamb, also because of its narrow and rare leaves. Like many other summer flowers, Cosmos has many colors, from white and pink to violet, purple or greyish. The more you have in the garden, the more colorful and cheerful it will be. They are annual flowers, which delight the eyes by coloring delicate petals in shades of yellow, orange or yellow garnet combinations. Flower petals are two pairs around the corolla, with lace-like edges like butterfly wings (hence the name). Cosmos are delicate plants with a rosy root and a long and thin stem, which often bends down, forming a dense network over which the delicate flowers are beautiful. What impresses on these flowers is: intense color, white, yellow, purple, orange and flower diameter of about 10cm. As colorful varieties, Cosmos Bipinnatus and Cosmos Sulphureus have yellow petals, and Cosmos Astrosanguineus have red petals, Gaillardia Kobold have yellow petals with red edges.

Because the stems are quite fierce, you can bind the bushes in rich hips by leaning them against the tutors. This type of flower grows only through seeds, but there are also species that resemble itself. If you can buy the seed in envelopes from florists or other stores, then the flowers are sown only once a year from the raw seed of the flowers. However, for an accelerated flower development and richness of bloom, it is advisable to buy seeds that you plan to grow early in the autumn soil with natural garbage, barley, marmite or a mixture of leaves and earth that fall autumn on the ground in which you want to sow again.
