The myth of the blockchain and Bitcoin

The combination of "blockchain technology + personal connectivity of the organism" will allow to encode and make available in a standardized compressed format all human thoughts. The data can be captured by scanning the cerebral cortex, EEG, brain-computer interfaces, cognitive nanorobots, etc. Thinking can be represented in the form of chains of blocks, having written down in them practically the entire subjective experience of the person and, possibly, even his consciousness. After writing to the detachment, various memories can be administered and transmitted, for example, to restore memory in the case of diseases accompanied by amnesia.

If each node of the network does the same thing, then it is obvious that the bandwidth of the entire network is equal to the bandwidth of one node of the network. And do you know what exactly it is equal to? Bitcoin can process a maximum of 7 transactions per second - at all.

In addition, Bitcoin-blockchain transactions are recorded only once every 10 minutes. And after the appearance of the record for reliability, it is accepted to wait another 50 minutes, because the records regularly spontaneously roll back. And now imagine that you need to buy crocheted chewing gum. Just an hour or so to stay in the store, you'll think.

Within the whole world, this is ridiculous right now, when almost every thousandth inhabitant of the Earth uses Bitcoin. And at such a speed of transactions, the number of active users will increase substantially and will not work. For comparison: Visa processes thousands of operations per second, and if necessary, it will easily increase capacity, because classical banking technologies are just scalable.

Even if the usual money and wither away, it's clearly not because they are being squeezed out by the blockchain decisions.
