Kernel-Trade Platform Opens the Agricultural Sector for Crypto-Investors

Kernel-Trade came out with innovative technology for the grain, real estate and property market, a software platform tokenization of agricultural assets and real estate, based on the blockchain solution. The goal of the platform is to stimulate the development of agro-industrial enterprises through the creation of a tokenized ecosystem for physical assets and property rights.

Within the platform, a farmer can sell his harvest on the platform. KNL provides him with insurance and an contributor can buy it now at a favorable price. As the result, a farmer gets profitable investment (working capital for increase in cultivation), and the contributor gets a tokenized asset (in the form of a real amount of grain in an elevator, accredited on the platform). The tokenized asset can be sold on the exchange any time.

To date, asset-backed tokens are used in various industries (real estate, finance, etc.), but the agricultural market has a significant investment potential, as it provides opportunities in the market with high margins and low risks. By definition, asset-backed tokens are backed by assets which minimizes risks, but asset-backed tokens issued within Smartlands will also provide expected returns identical to investment in equity.

Recently, the Kernel-Trade platform announced the initial exchange offer (IEO) of the project token, KNL. Coinsbit Cryptocurrency Exchange will be trusted to hold the event.

KNL tokens offered during the IEO is ERC20-compliant token issued on Ethereum blockchain. The IEO will be held in two rounds. The first round will be held from August 27 to August 29 2019. The second round will open on 29 August 2019. Total amount of tokens sales within the IEO is 17,000,000. The price of the KNL token is set at $0.1, and the minimum purchase amount is 1 KNL. The softcap is $350,000, and the hardcap is $1,700,000.

Development of Kernel-Trade blockchain platform started in late 2018.
