There's money to be made with Antiques.

I love to look around Antique shops to see whats there, seeing old and vintage products that have there own story. Me and my hubby are both into Antiques, especially when you find one that could make you quite a bit of money. There are a lot of good names to look out for such as:

Moorcroft -- Ceramics
Clarice Cliff-- Ceramics
LaLique -- Glass
Troika --Ceramics
Carlton Ware -- Ceramics
George Jensen -- Silver
MouseMan -- Wood
Many more

We started a few years ago watching shows on Tv, Antiques Road Trip, Bargain Hunt, Flog it, watching it stirred our interest so we started looking round shops and boot sales for good names, we managed to find a few bargains. Our plan was to buy as much as we can store it, research it then when we retried to have our own Antique stall, something to do together BUT my hubby started buying things he liked and now he doesn't want to part with them. We have a Display cabinet full of some lovely antiques plus a few boxes that are packaged up and stored.

OUR SILVER COLLECTION

CERAMICS

We haven't found anything that's going to make us rich but there is a profit in most of the things we have bought. My hubby is pretty good at haggling, I'm still practising. There is a lot of money to be made if you know what you are looking for. We do a lot of research on the products we buy plus we watch loads of Antique shows that give you loads of information.

I have just watch Antiques Road Trip where 2 well known Antique specialists go round the shops looking for bargain, they then haggle to get a good price then take them to Auction and the money they make is donated to Children In Need. This programme see's Anita Manning buy a Buddha for £50 then raises £3800.00 profit.

WATCH FROM 33.30 ONWARDS

Posted on Steemit too :)
