Trip to Rejvíz
With our wife and granddaughter, we drove today for a little trip. We got in the car and drove to Rejvíz. It is a national nature reserve in Jeseníky near Zlaté Hory and Jeseník (Czech Republic). Reservation is known for its peat ecosystem.
For the first time, I was about thirty-five years ago with my parents, the second time with my son fifteen. Everything reminded me. Just a little different. The little house I remember on the left stands on the right. The way to the hill seems more challenging.
The main objective of most tourists is to visit the Velké mechové jezírko. It leads to it a nature trail about 2 km long. First, a forest path from which you turn to a wooden walkway.
Along the wooden sidewalk are often wetlands. Many streams flow through the area. In the forests grows a moss, a fern and a eriophorum. There was a lot of white butterfly around.
The trail ends the view of the Velké mechové jezírko. It is home to many animals. We managed to see only swim the ducks and fly the dragonflies.
