There are mushrooms that have no nutritional interest but are so beautiful that they deserve all our attention.
Mycena seynii Quélet is a very common mushroom in my region (Sardinia, Italy) and is easily recognizable due to its particular habitat: it grows in fact on the pine cone flakes in the Mediterranean pine forests. It grows in autumn and spring.
Its size is small: the pinkish hat is about 2-4 centimeters long and the very slender stem does not exceed 10 centimeters in height.
