Ethereum Classic- A Compelling Investment Opportunity During Altcoin Winter
Ethereum Classic (ETC) is a cryptocurrency that has faced scrutiny since its inception. It is a mid-cap cryptocurrency that has an evolving use case and has the potential to take up the slack that Ethereum cannot handle currently.
Ethereum Classic is a cryptocurrency that split off of Ethereum in 2016 after a hack of the DAO dApp funding protocol for $50 million. The response to this hack was a hard fork of the Ethereum blockchain that was effective, but that saw Ethereum Classic embrace Ethereum's original blockchain while Ethereum continued to advance their original blockchain. You can read a detailed description of the har
dfork and Ethereum Classic's history at the link below:

Ethereum Classic recently completed its "Atlantis" Hardfork, which allows for more functionality. This allows for the further utilization of Etheruem Classic's blockchain, and a possibility for Classic to allow more businesses to use their underlying blockchain for commerce. This comes in the midst of a protracted altcoin winter, which is a good sign that there is a strong and supported use case for the technology behind the underlying asset.
As Ethereum moves to "Ethereum 2.0", the original blockchain in Ethereum Classic is a productive and useful asset. Atlantis was a needed update to Ethereum Classic's code which increased security and added speciality support for contracts. It was a needed software update that has been accepted by the miners.
At current, Ethereum Classic retails for less than $5, is the 20th largest cryptocurrency with a marketcap of approximately $500 million, and is traded on most major exchanges including Coinbase and Binance. Don't sleep on this opportunity to profit from a quality evolving cryptocurrency project.
